Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

At OnPoint Learning Ltd, we are committed to delivering high-quality, CPD-accredited training across a range of healthcare and first aid programmes. We understand that plans may change, and this combined policy outlines our terms for cancellations, refunds, transfers, and substitutions. It also highlights key differences between our Phlebotomy & Cannulation and First Aid course policies.

2. Learner Cancellations and Refund Terms

Phlebotomy & Cannulation Courses

More than 7 days before the course: Refund available minus a £50 administrative fee, or one free transfer (subject to availability).
Within 7 days of the course: No refunds or date changes permitted, including for lateness or non-attendance.
Within 48 hours or non-attendance: No refund or transfer. Exceptional cases may be considered where valid supporting documentation is provided (e.g., medical emergency or bereavement).
If OnPoint Learning cancels: A full refund or alternative course date will be offered.

First Aid Courses

More than 7 days before the course: Full refund or one free transfer (subject to availability).
Within 7 days of the course: No refunds or date changes permitted, except in exceptional circumstances with valid documentation.
Within 48 hours or non-attendance: No refund or transfer unless exceptional circumstances apply.
If OnPoint Learning cancels: Learners will be offered a full refund or free transfer to a future course date.

3. Course Transfers (Rescheduling)

Clinical Skills Courses

Transfer requests made more than 7 days before the course: One free transfer permitted, subject to availability.
Transfer requests made within 7 days of the course: No transfers or date changes permitted. Requests made within this period are treated as a cancellation with no refund.
Repeat transfers: Subject to availability and a £50 administrative fee per request.
Exceptional circumstances: Requests within 7 days may only be considered in exceptional cases (e.g., medical emergency or bereavement) with valid supporting documentation.

First Aid Courses

Transfer requests made more than 7 days before the course: One free transfer permitted.
Transfer requests made within 7 days of the course: £30 administrative fee applies.
Repeat transfers: Subject to availability and a £30 administrative fee per request.
Exceptional circumstances: Requests within 48 hours may only be considered with valid supporting documentation.

4. Group or Corporate Bookings

(Applicable to First Aid Courses)

Full cancellations for 5 or more delegates require at least 14 days’ notice for a full refund.
Changes to group attendees must be confirmed at least 48 hours before the course date.

5. Learner Substitution

A substitute delegate may attend in place of the original learner free of charge, provided:

Notification is given at least 48 hours in advance.
The substitute meets the course’s eligibility or entry criteria.

6. Course Cancellations by OnPoint Learning Ltd

In the event that a course is cancelled or rescheduled by OnPoint Learning Ltd:

Learners will be offered a full refund or a free transfer to a new course date.
We aim to provide at least 48 hours’ notice in the event of cancellation.

7. Refund Method and Processing Time

All refunds will be processed within 7 working days of written confirmation and will be returned to the original payment method.

8. General Conditions

Learners must attend the full course duration to be eligible for certification.
No partial refunds will be issued for missed sessions or early departures.
