This practical, CPD-certified course provides a comprehensive introduction to venepuncture (phlebotomy) — the essential clinical skill of safely collecting blood samples from patients. Terms & Conditions
1. Eligibility & Entry Learners must be 18+ with a good command of English. A background or interest in healthcare or aesthetics is preferred. Entry may be refused if criteria are not met. 2. Attendance Full attendance is mandatory. Arrivals over 15 minutes late may be refused entry with no refund. Non-attendance results in loss of place and fee. 3. Assessment & Certification Certification is awarded only after successful theory and practical completion. Unsafe or incorrect use of equipment may result in withheld certification. Reassessment is at trainer discretion. 4. Sharps & Equipment Use Learners must follow strict health and safety rules. Sharps must only be used under supervision and disposed of in approved sharps bins. Re-sheathing is not allowed. Injuries due to mishandling are the learner’s responsibility. 5. Liability Disclaimer OnPoint Learning Ltd is not liable for injuries or incidents resulting from learner misconduct or misuse of training. Certification confirms competency, not a medical qualification or licence to practice independently. 6. Refunds & Cancellations Cancellations over 7 days before the course will receive a refund minus a £30 admin fee. No refunds for cancellations within 7 days or for missed courses. If OnPoint cancels, a full refund or reschedule is offered. 7. Health & Safety PPE must be worn. Learners must disclose medical or access needs in advance. Attendance is denied to those unwell or under the influence of alcohol or drugs. 8. Behaviour & Dress Code Respectful behaviour is required at all times. Disruptive conduct results in removal with no refund. Phones must be silent. Wear clean, professional clothing and closed shoes. Hair must be tied back; no nail polish or extensions. 9. Consent & Conduct Recording is prohibited unless authorised. Group photos may be taken for promotion; opt-out is available. By enrolling, learners accept these terms and acknowledge that unsafe behaviour may result in injury or disqualification.
